The cut has been a drastic change for me and I feel like a completely different person. It’s peculiar how a cut and color can make you think twice about what to wear. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love my hair but it’s about time to revamp my wardrobe and figure out where I want to take my look from here. I’ve been looking forward to change because I tend to get bored of things very quickly. If you’ve been following me I’ve had several different hairstyles and colors but I think this one is going to stick for a while. How are my clothes going to match? Who the fuck knows, we’ll see what I come up with.
I stumbled into my apartment and found Miss Kayla Reefer sitting on my couch. If you don’t know her then get to know her- she’s a staff photographer at SUSPEND Mag, she’s gone on tour to shoot with Talib Kweli, and is the proud mother of Prince Reefer. We’ve had discussions about doing something together and we made it happen. I quickly threw on my Oak NYC high low tee along with my Peach Pit Skinny Jeans from UNIF. Oak’s basics are staple items that I have in my closet, you can’t go wrong with them because they’re great for layering or wearing alone. It’s a bit on the pricier side but I love how the brand likes to deconstruct pieces. There are small details that I appreciate; like adding center seams to the backs of garments, putting a 12″ side vent on the side of a shirt or even having and uneven front and back hem. Sorry, production talk- this is me geeking out. To complete my look I’m have my Alexander Wang Rockie in pebbled black leather and rhodium studs and my Intentionally Blank turbo heels.
