The holidays really had me feeling really comfortable. Comfortable in a sense that I took some “me” time to reflect on this past year and took a step back and to breathe a little. It’s never a bad thing to collect your thoughts and re-group. I felt like my life was constantly on the go and there was no slowing down but to start off this year I want to be a bit more mindful of my time. There are a lot more opportunities and projects that I would like to work on and they’re going to happen starting now. (Like blogging more because I’ve been a ghost).
I had initially bought this plaid Nasty Gal shirt thinking that I would wear it as a dress but it looked totally weird and boxy so it sat in my close for a really long time. Now that it’s a little chilly, I found that it’s a great layering piece and wore it under my leather jacket. It gives the outfit different levels which I’m really into at the moment. The rest of the pieces in this look are pretty standard: my Urban Outfitters white muscle tee, UNIF denim jeans, and Zara boots. This is pretty much my day to day uniform.
Last but not least, thank you to Kayla Reefer for these amazing photos!
