This is the last photo from this series in collaboration with Suspend Magazine’s Issue 05 release. You can order it online and it’s also available at The Hundreds store on Fairfax. My bad for posting this so late but I didn’t realize how hectic the release party was going to be on Friday.

While shooting we got hungry and the easiest thing to order was pizza. When the box of deliciousness showed up at the door I remembered that I has a shirt from Lazy Oaf and though it would be cool if we did a few shots with it on. I threw on a pair of denim shorts because you can’t go wrong with that pairing along with my Dr. Marten’s- easy peasy! I’m a fatass.. what can I say? I also devoured more than half of the box in case you wanted to know.
I’ve been having a small obsession with maxi dresses lately because they’re so easy to wear and it’s something that you can dress up or dress down. Obviously this look it’s more casual. This knitted dress in particular caught my attention because the fabric had a really interesting heather effect. The armholes are cut really low which makes it a little sexy for some side boob action but in my case, no boob. The raw hem detail is a cool addition to the aesthetic and I like the fact that it doesn’t look intentional. You can’t go wrong with pairing a leather jacket with any long dress and the one that I have on has black hardware which I love. You don’t really see leather jackets with black hardware but it makes it so much easier to wear because you can interchange the color of your accessories depending on what your going to wear for the day. I wore a beanie to finish the look along with the tallest platforms that I had because the dress was really long.

Don’t be afraid to take risks, even though it may cause you to have a bit of anxiety and a slight panic attack. I never want to live my life not knowing that I at least tried and so far life has been f***ing great. It was a struggle to get this website back up and I had second, third and forth doubts about what I wanted to do with it but, I’m just going with the flow.
During the shoot, Diane decided that she wanted to choose my outfit and of course she gravitated towards her own style, athleisure (of course she would). It’s a trend that has heavily influenced her style of shooting and sense of fashion. I get a constant influx of text messages from her of screen shots ranging from Tried + True, Sophia Chang, Vashtie, and Aleali May to name a few.

THIS IS A NEW BEGINNING. As some of you may know, I’ve been on hiatus for about a year. Life is a journey and it has its unexpected twists and turns but, it’s what you make of it– am I right?
I’ve been working on several projects and this particular series will be in print for Issue 05 for Suspend Magazine. Everyday until the release I will be publishing a set of photos shot by the Editor in Chief, Diane Abapo. The magazine is going to drop on Friday, June 12th and the launch will be held a the Dope store on Fairfax from 8pm to midnight. I hope to reconnect with you guys there! From this day going forward, expect to see some ill shit. (Let’s collaborate and get creative!)
